Sales Account Officer

JOB VACANCY Sales Account Officer Salary: Rs. 45,000 – 55,000 Gross Experience: Relevant field experience required Education: Master’s qualified candidates will be prioritized Location: Kamaladi, Kathmandu Employment Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities Maintain general ledger and accurate financial records. Evaluate customer creditworthiness and establish appropriate credit limits. Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments. Prepare ageing, collection and credit exposure reports. Maintain customer credit records, payment history and risk profiles. Coordinate with Sales, Finance and Operations teams for credit approvals, billing and collections. Develop and implement credit policies and risk management procedures. Handle billing disputes, customer queries and payment-related issues. Coordinate legal recovery actions and blacklisting procedures when required. Manage insurance claims, documentation and settlement follow-ups. Coordinate with banks, financial institutions, insurers and key customers. Support ERP systems and process improvement initiatives. Analyze collection performance, customer payment behavior and credit risks. Prepare management reports and provide recommendations to improve cash flow and reduce bad debts. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and internal controls. Support audit activities and cross-functional coordination. Candidate Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or a related field. Relevant experience in credit management, accounts receivable, sales accounting or a similar position. Master’s qualified candidates will be given priority. Strong knowledge of credit risk, collection and financial analysis. Good command of MS Excel and accounting/ERP software. Strong communication, negotiation and follow-up skills. Ability to coordinate effectively with customers, banks and internal departments.
