Job OverviewThe Ice Cream Sales Associate is responsible for delivering a fun, welcoming customer experience, serving high-quality frozen treats, and managing front-counter sales. This role combines customer service, food prep, upselling, and point-of-sale handling while keeping the display and dining areas clean and hygienic.Key Responsibilities:Customer Service & Order Taking: Greet customers warmly, answer questions about flavors and dietary options, and record orders accurately.Ice Cream Serving & Presentation: Scoop, portion, and present ice cream, sundaes, cones, and milkshakes according to standard recipes and brand visual guidelines.Product Sales & Upselling: Suggest complementary items, extra toppings, larger portion sizes, or promotional flavors to boost sales revenue.POS, Billing & Cash Handling: Process cash, credit card, and mobile wallet payments accurately using the POS system and balance the register drawer at shift end.Counter & Display Area Maintenance: Keep the dipping cabinet, toppings station, service counters, and customer seating areas spotlessly clean and well-stocked.Product Knowledge: Maintain clear knowledge of menu items, ingredients, flavor profiles, and potential allergens to guide customer choices safely.Customer Feedback & Complaint Handling: Address minor customer complaints or service issues politely on the spot, escalating complex matters to the shift supervisor when necessary.Food Hygiene & Cleanliness: Adhere strictly to food safety guidelines, including regular handwashing, glove use, utensil sanitation, and proper temperature monitoring for frozen storage.Note:Duty Hour: 3PM - 11PMPreference shall be given to the candidates with hospitality or F&B sector background
