Counselor (Australia, New Zealand and UK)

Job Title: Academic Counselor (Study Abroad – UK, Australia & New Zealand)Location: Old Baneshwor, Kathmandu, NepalEmployment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented academic counselor with experience in international consulting education. In this role, you will guide students through the end-to-end process of study abroad in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand —from course selection and admission universities to visa processing and pre-departure briefings.Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized counseling to students and parents regarding academic programs, admission criteria, fee structures, and scholarship options across the top institutions in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.- Assess academic credentials, test scores (IELTS/PTE/TOEFL), and career goals to shortlist universities suitable and courses.- Manage end-to-end application processing, including Statement of Purpose (SOP) reviews, document verification, and university portal submissions.- Guide students through student visa requirements, financial documentation, GTE/GS (Genuine Student Checks for Australia, and credibility interviews.- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective leads via calls, emails, and in-person meetings to conversion meet targets.- Build and nurture positive relationships with university representatives and partner institutions.Requirements- Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in overseas education counseling especially handling UK, Australia, and New Zealand destinations.- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.- Strong working knowledge of admission cycles, entry requirements, post-study work rights, and visa protocols for these three regions.- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.- Proven track record achieving of application and visa conversion targets.- Familiarity with CRM systems and overseas education portals are an advantage.What We Offer- Competitive Base Salary with attractive performance incentives/commissions.- Comprehensive training and direct interaction with international university representatives.- Collaborative, energetic office culture.
