Operations Assistant

We are seeking a proactive, organized Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day running of our travel and trekking business, working under and assisting the Operations Manager. The role centers on operational coordination — bookings, logistics, and vendor communication — with a secondary role assisting on quotations and client follow-up. The ideal candidate has strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts across trips and clients.Key Responsibilities1. Operations (primary)Assist the Operations Manager with daily travel and trekking operationsCoordinate with clients, guides, drivers, hotels, and other service providersPrepare and confirm tour and trekking arrangementsCoordinate transportation, accommodation, guides, permits, and other travel servicesMaintain accurate records of bookings, schedules, and operational documentsFollow up with suppliers and partners to ensure timely service deliveryCommunicate trip schedules and necessary information to guides, drivers, and clientsMonitor ongoing trips and provide operational support when requiredHandle client requests, changes, and operational issues during tripsPrepare basic reports, schedules, and operational documentsEnsure smooth coordination before, during, and after trips2. Sales support (secondary)Assist in preparing tour and trekking quotations for prospective clientsFollow up on inbound inquiries and leadsSupport maintenance of the client/lead pipeline (CRM)
