Business Development Officer

Job Specificationidentifying prospective business opportunities for the organization.to be aware and to be updated regularly on the consulting opportunities/projects funded by various donor agencies in the assigned sector(s), well in advance, and prepare accordingly. Correspond/communicate with potential international/domestic firms for various consulting projects in the assigned sectors.Identify the best international/domestic firm(s) for the projects – Interact, identify and tie up with a firm (s) that have relevant consulting experience, strong human resources relevant to the project, strong financial resources, and firm(s).Accompany and tie up with international principals to the client and related organizations during their visit.Identify the best local resource personnel(s) for the projects - To interact, identify, and tie up with the best resource personnel, mostly local, to be proposed through TMS for the projects.Build good rapport with resource consultants, and national and international perspective partner firms.Assist in preparing and submitting EOIs and Proposals. QualificationBachelor's/Master's in Development Studies/ Management/Engineering or any other relevant subject.Other SpecificationInterpersonal and correspondence skillsProactive and Self-MotivatedLearning Attitude and Proposal Writing skillsProject Management Skills such as : Time Management, Cost ControlMultitasking, Client Relationship, Progress Monitoring etcGood English verbal and written communication is a must
