Junior Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of accounting experience and be responsible for financial reporting, reconciliations, tax compliance, ERP processes, and maintaining accurate financial records in accordance with IFRS and local accounting standards.Key Responsibilities:Prepare financial and management reports in accordance with IFRS and local standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Lead the automation of the Property Performance Report (PPR) process within our ERP system to improve efficiency.Perform bank, supplier, client, and loan account reconciliations on a fortnightly and monthly basis, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.Review and submit VAT and CIS returns, effectively managing tax authority queries to maintain compliance.Maintain the Working Paper module, ensuring seamless integration with the automated PPR framework.Manage documentation for landlord certificates and loan agreement addendums, ensuring all records are up to date.Prepare draft accounts and working papers for all material balance sheet items, contributing to the financial integrity of the organization.
