Position Title: Accounting InstructorEmployment Type: Full-TimeWork Location: Shankhamul, KathmanduPosition Overview:Vrit Jobs is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Accounting Instructor to teach, mentor, and guide students across the full range of accounting and finance topics. This role is ideal for a hands-on practitioner with 2 to 3 years of experience who can train learners in core accounting principles while also demonstrating practical expertise in specialized areas such as Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), and financial reporting.The Accounting Instructor will work closely with the academic team to design and deliver engaging training sessions, mentor students on practical exercises and case studies, and help build industry-ready accounting and finance professionals. From curriculum planning to hands-on skill-building across the accounting course package, you will play a key role in shaping learners' careers and contributing to a high-quality, learner-centric training environment.Expected Strengths and Competencies:• Subject Matter Expertise: Sound practical knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, taxation, and financial reporting.• Trade Finance Knowledge: Good working knowledge of Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), and related banking/trade finance instruments.• Communication Skills: Proficient in both Nepali and English (oral and written), ensuring clear and engaging classroom delivery.• Digital Proficiency: Skilled in using accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Excel, along with LMS or virtual classroom platforms.• Mentorship Orientation: Demonstrates genuine commitment to student growth, engagement, and career readiness.• Accuracy and Timeliness: Consistently delivers curriculum content, assessments, and feedback with quality and within timelines.• Adaptability: Able to simplify complex financial concepts and adjust teaching methods to different learner levels.The Impact Zone: Key Responsibilities:• Training & Mentoring: Deliver structured training sessions on accounting and finance concepts; design and update curriculum, training material, and assessments; mentor students on practical exercises and portfolio building; and track learner progress with constructive feedback.• Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping: Teach fundamentals of financial accounting, bookkeeping, ledgers, and preparation of financial statements.• Financial Reporting: Guide students in preparing and analyzing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in line with accounting standards.• LC & Bank Guarantee (Trade Finance): Train students on the process, documentation, and practical application of Letters of Credit (LC) and Bank Guarantees (BG) in trade and business transactions.• Taxation & Compliance: Teach principles of taxation, VAT/TDS compliance, and statutory filing requirements relevant to Nepal.• Software & Tools Training: Train students on accounting software such as Tally and QuickBooks, along with MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting.• Course Package Delivery: Deliver the full accounting course package, covering topics from basic bookkeeping to advanced financial reporting and trade finance, ensuring a well-rounded and job-ready skill set for students.
