Assistant Sales Manager

We are seeking a motivated, experienced, and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager to join our dynamic logistics and transportation team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:Generate new business leads via cold calls, databases, referrals, and existing accounts.Identify potential prospects, schedule meetings, and promote the company’s transportation services.2. Sales Pipeline & Target Achievement:Maintain a robust sales pipeline and convert leads into active accounts.Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets consistently.3. Account Management & Client Servicing:Manage and maintain strong client relationships through regular follow-ups, communication, and issue resolution.Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and loyalty.4. Rate Negotiation & Contract Finalization:Coordinate with management to determine business margins and finalize client rates.Prepare contracts and close deals efficiently.5. Contract Renewal Management:Monitor contract expiration timelines and proactively pitch renewals for business continuity.6. Issue Resolution & Payment Follow-ups:Collaborate with Operations, Accounts, IT, and suppliers to resolve client concerns professionally.Work with Finance/CRM teams to ensure timely collection of payments.
