Freshers and interns are not eligible for this opening.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:1+ years of professional experience in videography and video editing is required, with experience in digital media or a related field preferred. Strong proficiency in professional video editing software such as DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro is required. Experience with DaVinci Resolve is preferred, as it is the primary editing software used at TechLekh.Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Photoshop for motion graphics, visual effects, thumbnails, and other creative requirements.Good understanding of videography, including camera operation, framing, composition, lighting, and audio recording.Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, transitions, sound design, colour correction, and basic colour grading.Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced media environment.Access to a capable laptop for video editing is preferred, though TechLekh also provides an editing setup.A genuine interest in technology, gadgets, automobiles, startups, and emerging digital trends will be highly valued.Candidates with a degree or formal education in filmmaking, videography, video editing, multimedia, graphic design, or a related field will be given additional consideration.Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with writers, editors, designers, and other members of the creative team.WHAT YOU'LL DO:Shoot, edit, and produce high-quality video content for TechLekh’s digital platforms while maintaining our visual and editorial standards.Contribute to the complete video production workflow, from planning and shooting to editing, post-production, and final delivery, while working collaboratively with the creative team.Set up and operate production equipment for indoor and outdoor shoots, including cameras, lighting, and microphones, covering smartphones and other tech products indoors and automotive and motorcycle content outdoors.Develop creative approaches to improve video storytelling, pacing, visuals, and overall viewer engagement.Create thumbnails, graphics, and other visual assets required for video and social media content.Attend product launches, media briefings, test drives, and industry events to shoot and produce video content.Work with the editorial and creative teams to plan and execute video projects efficiently.APPLICATION PROCESS:You can apply through Email or LinkedIn.Option 1: EmailPlease send the following to [email protected]:Resume (CV)Cover LetterPortfolio or relevant work samples showcasing video editing, videography, graphics, or related creative workLinks to previous work, YouTube channels, or other relevant platformsSubject: Job Application – Video Editor and VideographerOption 2: LinkedInApply directly through LinkedIn and ensure your application includes:Your updated Resume (CV)A Cover Letter (uploaded or shared via a link)Links to your portfolio or relevant work samples showcasing video editing, videography, graphics, or related creative workApplications without relevant work samples or a portfolio may not be considered.At TechLekh, we value creativity, curiosity, teamwork, attention to detail, and continuous learning.
