Our standardized management approach and high-quality customer service have made us the largest one-stop financial service group in Australia, dedicated to helping you settle down and purchase property in the country.Key Responsibilities: Internal Compliance AuditsConduct scheduled and ad hoc compliance audits on broker loan files.Select audit samples in accordance with the Internal Audit Program.Review broker files against:NCCP obligationsBest Interests Duty (BID)Responsible Lending requirementsInternal policies and proceduresAggregator requirementsAssess completeness and quality of documentation.Ensure all mandatory documents have been obtained and correctly executed.Verify document timelines and consistency. Documentation ReviewReview And Assess Documents Including:Fact FindNCCP AssessmentProduct ComparisonCredit GuidePrivacy ConsentLiving Expense AssessmentIncome VerificationBank StatementsServiceability CalculationsLoan & broker file NotesEmail CorrespondenceSupporting DocumentationIdentify:Missing documentsIncorrect documentationInconsistent informationRed flag transactionsInsufficient verificationPoor file notesInadequate BID justification Audit ReportingPrepare detailed audit reports.Record audit findings and supporting evidence.Assign risk ratings.Recommend corrective actions.Present findings to Management.Track recurring compliance issues. Remediation ManagementIssue remediation actions to brokers.Monitor completion of corrective actions.Conduct follow-up reviews.Verify remediation effectiveness.Escalate overdue remediation items. Compliance MonitoringMonitor Compliance Trends Including:Documentation qualityResponsible Lending obligationsBID complianceAML/CTF documentationRecord keepingBroker conductRegulatory changesIdentify systemic risks and recommend improvements. Process ImprovementWork Closely With Compliance Management To:Improve audit methodology.Enhance compliance procedures.Recommend workflow improvements.Improve document templates.Reduce operational risks. Training SupportAssist With:NCCP compliance trainingAudit feedback sessionsBroker coachingCompliance workshopsInternal compliance communicationsProvide education based on common audit findings. Regulatory SupportAssist With:ASIC compliance reviewsAggregator auditsExternal compliance reviewsRegulatory information requestsInternal policy updatesRequired Skills & Experience:Strong knowledge of NCCP, Best Interests Duty (BID), and Responsible Lending requirements.Experience in mortgage broker compliance, loan file auditing, or credit assessment.Ability to review and verify Fact Finds, income documents, bank statements, serviceability calculations, and supporting documentation.Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify compliance breaches, inconsistencies, and risks.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills.Experience preparing audit reports, documenting findings, and tracking remediation actions.Good understanding of ASIC regulations, AML/CTF obligations, and aggregator requirements.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and document management systems.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with brokers and stakeholders.Previous experience in the Australian mortgage or financial services industry is highly regarded.What We Offer:Meaningful WorkCompetitive Market SalaryOpportunities for personal development and growthSkills: internal audit,mortgage industry,documentation,risk,compliance,communication
