EFX artist- mid level

We are looking for a passionate and creative EFX Artist to join our VFX team. This role is ideal for artists with 2+ years of experience who are eager to grow their skills in FX simulation, technical problem-solving, and production workflows.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and support basic to medium-level EFX shots under the guidance of senior artists and supervisors.Develop particle, fluid, and cloth simulations using 3ds Max, Maya, and/or Houdini.Modify and implement FX rigs according to production requirements.Perform basic FX R&D, troubleshooting, and workflow improvements.Collaborate closely with FX leads, supervisors, and other CG departments.Present work, receive feedback, and refine shots to meet artistic and technical standards.Maintain clean scenes, optimize FX elements, and follow pipeline requirements.Consistently meet production quotas, deadlines, and quality expectations.Key SkillsWorking knowledge of 3ds Max, Maya, Houdini, After Effects, and/or Nuke.Understanding of particle, fluid, and cloth simulation techniques.Basic understanding of FX pipelines and rig workflows.Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.Creativity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.Ability to adapt to new tools, workflows, and project requirements.What We’re Looking ForA motivated artist with a strong interest in visual effectsSomeone who learns quickly and embraces feedbackAn artist committed to delivering quality work on timeA team player who wants to grow from basic to more advanced FX work
