The company works with AI research organizations and enterprises to build high-quality training environments and evaluation systems that improve the reasoning and coding capabilities of advanced AI models.About the Role:As a Software Engineer (GitHub Contributor), you will apply your engineering expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. You will build reproducible reinforcement learning environments that test an AI model’s ability to fix code, add features, refactor, and optimize performance. Each environment includes a realistic, challenging coding task, a golden reference solution, and a deterministic verifier that accepts reasonable valid solutions and rejects everything else.Key Responsibilities:Build reproducible reinforcement learning environments based on real-world software engineering problems.Create realistic, interesting, and challenging tasks covering feature implementation, bug fixes, refactoring, and performance optimization.Write a golden reference solution for every task.Implement deterministic verifiers that accept valid solutions and reject incorrect ones.Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software defects and performance bottlenecks across diverse codebases.Implement robust new features with scalability, maintainability, and software best practices in mind.Refactor and optimize legacy code to improve clarity, efficiency, and long-term reliability.Contribute expert-level code samples, debugging strategies, and development insights in Python3, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript.Document technical reasoning, solution approaches, and code decisions to improve AI training data quality.Review and validate peer-contributed code and technical submissions for accuracy and clarity.Required Qualifications:Strong backend experience in Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Python, C++, or similarTrack record of building scalable services and APIsComfort with debugging, performance work, and automated testingSolid code review instinctsClear open-source contributions and a public profile (e.g., GitHub) that showcases themPreferred Qualifications:Significant hands-on expertise in at least one of Python3, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScriptProven record of delivering high-quality, performant backend projectsDemonstrated success in identifying and resolving software bugs and system bottlenecksExperience with large codebase refactoring and legacy system modernizationDeep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principlesTrack record of delivering high-impact features from conception through delivery within cross-functional projectsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and technical communication skillsInterest in or curiosity about AI and its technical challenges
