Job SummaryThe Hotel Front Desk Officer serves as the primary point of contact for guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, delivering exceptional customer service, and coordinating guest requests across departments to ensure a seamless hospitality experience.Key Responsibilities:Guest Registration & Room Allocation: Handle guest arrivals and departures, verify booking details, issue room keys, and assign rooms according to preferences and availability.Reservation & Inquiry Management: Answer incoming phone calls and emails, process walk-in or phone reservations, and provide detailed information about room rates, amenities, and hotel policies.Billing & Financial Transactions: Process payments (cash, credit cards, online transfers), verify billing credentials, maintain accurate guest folios, and balance daily cash drawers.Guest Service & Issue Resolution: Address guest inquiries, offer local tourism recommendations, manage special requests (e.g., wake-up calls, transportation), and resolve guest complaints promptly with a service-oriented approach.Interdepartmental Coordination: Liaise directly with housekeeping to monitor room cleaning status and notify maintenance staff of room repairs or technical issues.Administrative & Safety Compliance: Maintain guest privacy, follow security and emergency protocols, log key movement, and generate daily front office operational reports.Duty Hour: 6AM - 2PM or 2PM - 10PM Requirement: Candidate must have a Bachelor in Hotel Management (BHM) degree.
