Counselor

We are seeking a motivated, confident, and student-focused Counselor to join our team. The Counsellor will guide students through the study-abroad process by understanding their academic background and career goals and recommending suitable destinations, universities, courses, and admission pathways.The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to build trusted relationships with students while maintaining professional and ethical standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCounsel students on suitable study-abroad destinations, universities, courses, and programs based on their academic background, interests, and career goals.Understand students' requirements and provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding admission requirements, application procedures, and available options.Handle student enquiries through phone, email, social media, and in-person consultations.Conduct one-to-one counseling sessions and provide personalized guidance throughout the admission process.Assist students with university applications, documentation, and application follow-ups.Review student documents and ensure applications are complete and submitted accurately within deadlines.Maintain regular follow-up with prospective and existing students and update their progress.Maintain accurate and confidential student records, enquiry databases, and application tracking systems.Coordinate with admission, documentation, marketing, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth processing of student applications.Liaise with universities and relevant representatives when required.Keep updated with changes in university requirements, courses, intakes, scholarships, and study-abroad procedures.Follow up with students regarding application status, offers, and admission-related requirements.Achieve assigned counselling, application, and admission targets.Build positive and professional relationships with students and their parents/guardians.Maintain ethical, transparent, and professional communication and ensure that students receive accurate information.Perform other counseling and student-support responsibilities as assigned by management.
