AI/ML ENGINEER – KATHMANDU

We are seeking a passionate and experienced AI/ML Engineer to lead our analytics team. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise with leadership, driving data-informed decisions across the organization. You will lead projects, mentor analysts, and collaborate with onshore and offshore stakeholders to unlock valuable insights from our data. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in computer science, AI, or related field Proven experience with LLMs, generative AI, and traditional ML systems Strong understanding of prompt engineering and LLM optimization techniques Expertise in Python and modern AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Langchain) Experience with vector databases and embedding technologies Practical knowledge of AI safety, ethics, and responsible AI development Familiarity with AI evaluation metrics and testing frameworks Strong communication skills, especially in translating technical AI concepts Experience with API development and AI system integration Self-motivated with attention to detail and continuous learning mindset RESPONSIBILITIES Design and implement large language models (LLMs) and generative AI (GenAI) solutions while optimizing for performance and responsible AI practices Develop and maintain prompt engineering frameworks for consistent and efficient AI interactions Create robust data pipelines for training, fine-tuning, and evaluating AI models Build and optimize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems for enterprise applications Implement AI governance and safety measures while monitoring model performance Contribute to MLOps practices ensuring reliable AI model deployment and monitoring Develop hybrid solutions combining traditional ML and modern LLM approaches Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s in degree in a quantitative field (e.g., AI or related field.). Prior one year or above of experience in AI technologies, machine learning, and data science, with a focus on developing and deploying impactful AI solutions to drive business transformation. Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
