The Role in a Nutshell: The Marketing Manager is responsible for building and managing a high-performing revenue marketing engine that drives awareness, demand, and qualified top-of-funnel opportunities across Modern Work, Cloud Infrastructure, Digital & App Innovation, Data & AI, Cybersecurity, and Business Applications. The role leads inbound and outbound demand generation and multi-channel campaigns, ensuring that every marketing activity is measurable, aligned with sales priorities, and contributes to pipeline growth and ROI. Duties and Responsibilities: Go-to-Market Campaigns and Pipeline Generation Develop and execute integrated go-to-market campaigns across solution areas, markets, segments, and priority verticals to generate qualified top-of-funnel opportunities and measurable pipeline. Define the target audience, customer need, offer, value proposition, channel mix, campaign targets, budget, measurement plan, and expected ROI before campaign launch. Lead Microsoft-funded and self-funded campaigns across inbound and outbound channels, including email, website conversion, SEO, paid media, social, webinars, events, partner channels, account-based marketing, and outbound activation. Build scalable lead capture, qualification, nurture, and re-engagement journeys that move prospects from awareness to marketing qualification and sales acceptance. Guide content and creative development to ensure clear positioning, consistent messaging, and strong customer experience across campaign touchpoints. Monitor campaign performance and continuously optimize targeting, messaging, channels, spend, nurture paths, and calls to action based on lead quality, conversion, pipeline contribution, and ROI. Sales, Solution and Microsoft Alignment Collaborate with sales leaders, solution sales, cloud solution architects, specialists, and Microsoft go-to-market teams to translate business priorities into relevant campaign offers, target accounts, messaging, and qualification criteria. Create and manage a seamless lead handoff process with agreed service levels, clear ownership, and continuous feedback loops to improve lead quality and conversion. Monitor MQL-to-SQL progression, identify funnel gaps, and coordinate corrective actions with Sales. Leverage applicable Microsoft go-to-market, co-marketing, and investment programs while ensuring campaign compliance, evidence, claims, attributable outcomes, and ROI are accurately tracked. Team Leadership and Operational Excellence Lead, coach, and coordinate marketing contributors involved in campaigns, content, design, events, marketing automation, and lead generation. Set clear targets, roles, cadences, quality standards, and performance expectations aligned with departmental OKRs. Improve campaign playbooks, lead generation scripts, nurture cadences, templates, and training materials that improve execution consistency and scalability. Champion responsible Copilot and AI adoption, document repeatable workflows, and continuously improve marketing productivity, quality, and campaign cycle time. Performance, CRM and ROI Management Own the effective use of CRM, marketing automation, advertising, analytics, and sales prospecting platforms for lead tracking, scoring, attribution, nurture, and performance measurement. Maintain complete and accurate campaign, lead-source, funnel, and pipeline data in CRM as the core system for financial visibility and monitoring. Manage assigned marketing budgets with strong cost and P&L discipline, ensuring every material campaign has defined objectives, success measures, attribution logic, and a post-campaign review. Create and present dashboards covering spend, engagement, lead quality, conversion, funnel velocity, sourced or influenced pipeline, and ROI, with recommendations to optimize, reallocate, or discontinue investments. Educational Qualifications Expected Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing, or related field A postgraduate qualification or professional certification in Marketing, such as CIM, SLIM, or an equivalent credential, will be an added advantage. Relevant certifications in digital marketing, marketing analytics, CRM or Microsoft technologies will be an added advantage. Expected Experience 3+ years of progressive experience in B2B marketing, including at least 2 years in a team leadership, campaign leadership, or marketing management capacity. Experience developing and executing marketing campaigns that generate qualified sales opportunities. Experience working with CRM and marketing automation tools to manage leads and monitor campaign performance. Experience managing marketing budgets, tracking ROI, and presenting performance reports. Experience in the technology, cloud, software, IT services, or Microsoft ecosystem will be an added advantage.
