SENIOR DATA ANALYST – KATHMANDU

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Data Analyst to lead our analytics team. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise with leadership, driving data-informed decisions across the organization. You will lead projects, mentor analysts, and collaborate with onshore and offshore stakeholders to unlock valuable insights from our data. REQUIREMENTS 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field. Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. Expert-level proficiency in SQL. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI). Experience in the e-commerce domain and knowledge of marketplaces like Google Shopping, Amazon, and others is desirable. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is advantageous. Knowledge of Python or R is a plus. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead end-to-end data analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals. Mentor and develop a team of data analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Contribute to the design and development of our data infrastructure and analytics systems. Analyze complex datasets using SQL and other tools to identify trends and actionable insights. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Business Intelligence tools. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, business analysts, sales and marketing analysts, and other stakeholders, to understand their data needs and deliver solutions aligned with project goals. Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to onshore and offshore stakeholders. Contribute to the development of the organization’s overall data analytics strategy. Demonstrate capacity for long-term planning and aligning data initiatives with business objectives. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or equivalent.). 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field. Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. Expert-level proficiency in SQL. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
