Yes, if you are a citizen of Nepal, Kenya, the Philippines, or Colombia and meet the minimum age requirement in your country, you are eligible to apply. If you meet the legal age requirement and eligibility criteria, joining our data specialist team is straightforward. Once you successfully complete the initial application, we'll contact you for training. Upon passing the training and assessment, you'll be assigned to a project that aligns with your skills and technical requirements. Do I need to pay to attend training? Do you train online? No, you do not need to pay to attend training. Our training is practice-oriented to equip you with the necessary skills, and most sessions are conducted online through video meetings. However, for certain projects, there may be in-person training. If in-person training is required, you will be notified once you are shortlisted. What are the basic technical requirements needed to apply? To apply, you need a Windows i3 laptop (Gen 3 - Gen 7) with at least 4GB of RAM, a stable internet connection with speeds of 5 Mbps or higher, and access to a quiet workspace. Depending on the project, additional technical requirements such as an external mouse, power backup (UPS), and external monitor may be necessary, which we will inform you about during the application process. Basic computer literacy and proficiency in English are also essential to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and communication flows smoothly. Why do you need to be in teams? Being part of a team is crucial for both personal and collective success, as the saying goes, "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together." Currently, we are operating 100% remotely, so there’s no need to visit the office/work facility. However, based on the needs of the project or for specific purposes, you may be required to come to the office occasionally, but this will be communicated in advance. Do I need to meet with CloudFactory full-time staff? Yes, we hold scheduled online video meetings, where you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with your teammates. These meetings are held regularly and focus on growth, development, and sharing unique insights through discussions about the Personal Development Plan, which covers the 3Cs—Character, Competency, and Community. What kind of online data work will I be doing at CloudFactory? Depending on the project, you may work on tasks such as data entry, data extraction from images or documents, audio transcription, data moderation, data analysis, data annotation, or other tasks related to AI and data processing. We provide training to help you develop the necessary skills and ensure you’re prepared for the specific tasks assigned to you. How and when will I be paid? Your earnings are reflected in USD on our platform and converted to your local currency using the exchange rate on the day payroll is calculated (please note, the exchange rate is applied when payroll is processed, not when you receive the payment). Your payout will be deposited into your designated local bank account, with payments made monthly. Is this a full-time or part-time opportunity? We offer both part-time and full-time opportunities, depending on the project. You can choose the option that best suits your schedule. Is there a time scheduled to do the tasks or can I do it on my own time? The work hours will depend on the project you're assigned to. Some projects offer flexible hours, allowing you to complete tasks at your convenience, while others have scheduled shifts that require you to work during a specific time. Can I work from anywhere? CloudFactory operates 100% remotely, so as long as you are working from Nepal, Kenya, the Philippines, or Colombia and meet the technical requirements, including having a stable internet connection, you can work from anywhere within your country.
