Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis.This position is intended for an individual professional only. We are not seeking tax consultants, accounting service providers, or tax consultancy/accounting firms for this role.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & AnalysisPrepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow) in accordance with NFRS (Nepal Financial Reporting Standards).Conduct monthly bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.Taxation & Statutory ComplianceManage all VAT (Value Added Tax) and TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) filings via the IRD (Inland Revenue Department) portal.Ensure timely payment of Income Tax installments and handle annual tax returns.Handle company secretarial tasks such as OCR (Office of the Company Registrar) renewals and document filings.Operational AccountingOversee accounts payable and receivable.Manage Payroll processingMaintain the Fixed Asset Register and calculate depreciation.Supervision & CoordinationPerforming daily work such as verifying, reconciling and rectifying vendor payable transactionsAccurately perform vendor statement reconciliationsProcess payments and disbursements within approved payment termsAccount reconciliations such as bank, vendor transactions and inventory control, etc
