Job ResponsibilitiesBuild WordPress websites from design files using custom themes, Elementor or block themes - whichever the project actually needs.Develop and customise WooCommerce and Shopify stores, including payment, shipping and tax configuration for Nepali and international merchants.Write custom PHP for WordPress: hooks, filters, custom post types, taxonomies, meta boxes and light plugin work.Handle migrations, redirects and launch checklists without breaking existing SEO.Optimise site speed: caching, image formats, script loading, database cleanup.Keep client sites patched, backed up and secure - you will share responsibility for our maintenance retainers.Fix hacked or broken sites brought to us by new clients, and document what went wrong.Educational RequirementsBachelor's degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science or a related field.Equivalent practical experience with a portfolio of live sites is fully acceptable.Experience Requirements1 to 3 years building client sites on WordPress; Shopify experience is a strong plus.At least five live sites you can point to and explain your exact contribution to.Comfortable with PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and cPanel/aaPanel-style hosting.Understanding of WordPress security hygiene: file permissions, plugin vetting, admin hardening.Additional RequirementsYou know when a page builder is the right call and when it is technical debt.Liquid template experience for Shopify is an advantage.You are calm under launch-day pressure.Compensation & Other BenefitsCompetitive salary reviewed annually, plus performance-based incrementsFestival bonus (Dashain/Tihar) and leave encashment as per company policyProvident fund, gratuity and insurance in line with the Nepal Labour ActFive-day working week with flexible start hours; hybrid options for eligible rolesPaid annual leave, sick leave and all gazetted public holidaysCompany-funded certifications, courses and conference passesModern hardware, licensed tools and a quiet, well-equipped office in TokhaA clear career track with six-monthly reviews - we promote from within first
