JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Warehouse In-Charge Department: Warehouse Reports To: Operations Manager Location: Chamati -16, Kathamandu Employment Type: Full-Time Job Purpose The Warehouse In-Charge is responsible for the overall management and smooth operation of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, handling, issuing, and dispatching materials and products. The position ensures accurate inventory records, proper stock management, efficient warehouse operations, and compliance with company policies and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. Receive incoming goods, materials, and products and verify them against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documents. Inspect received items for quantity, quality, damage, and specifications. Ensure proper storage, labeling, identification, and organization of all warehouse items. Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and dispatches. Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability. Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with system record Prepare and verify warehouse documentation. Coordinate with purchasing, sales, accounts, and other departments regarding inventory requirements. Ensure timely packing, and dispatch of goods. Monitor slow-moving, damaged, expired, and obsolete stock and report accordingly. Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and proper housekeeping within the warehouse. Ensure proper utilization of warehouse space and storage facilities. Supervise warehouse staff, assign duties, monitor attendance, and evaluate performance. Train warehouse employees on proper handling, storage, safety, and company procedures. Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements. Maintain proper security of warehouse premises, stock, equipment, and documents. Investigate inventory discrepancies, damages, shortages, and other warehouse-related issues. Prepare regular inventory and warehouse operation reports for management. Coordinate loading and unloading activities and ensure goods are handled safely. Ensure proper maintenance and use of warehouse equipment and tools. Perform any other warehouse-related duties assigned by management. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experiencein warehouse, inventory, logistics, or store management. Good knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management procedures. Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office and inventory. Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Good documentation and record-keeping skills. Knowledge of warehouse safety and security procedures.
