Python Django Developer

We are looking for an experienced and collaborative Python / Django Developer with 4+ years of hands-on experience to build robust backend systems, high-throughput APIs, custom middlewares, and seamless third-party integrations. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Linux environments, excellent English communication, strong teamwork capabilities, and a passion for scalable software engineering. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, secure, and scalable backend services and REST APIs using Python and Django / Django REST Framework.Architect and implement custom Django middlewares, authentication pipelines, and third-party API integrations.Administer, configure, and optimize Linux server environments, background workers (Celery), and async task queues.Optimize relational databases (PostgreSQL), complex query performance, indexing, and data caching strategies (Redis).Build and maintain media streaming solutions and high-speed, reliable file transfer pipelines.Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, product leads, and cross-functional team members in an agile environment.Participate in code reviews, write comprehensive automated unit/integration tests, and ensure high engineering standards. Requirements & Qualifications 4+ years of professional software engineering experience specializing in Python and Django / Django REST Framework.Strong grasp of Linux OS, shell scripting, server administration, and deployment environments.Deep expertise in backend architecture, API design, middleware development, and third-party integrations.Proficiency with database modeling, PostgreSQL performance tuning, and Redis caching.Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and strong collaboration / team player mindset.Solid experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker containerization, and modern development workflows.Ability to work in a hybrid setup with regular collaboration at our Sankhamul, Kathmandu office.
