Chief Financial Officer - CFO

We are currently seeking a highly experienced and strategic finance professional to join our team and lead the financial direction of a prominent company. This key leadership role is ideal for an individual who combines strong financial expertise with strategic thinking, business partnering capabilities, and a results-oriented approach to driving financial discipline and sustainable growth. The position is based in Kathmandu/Birgunj and reports directly to senior leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesLead integrated financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy to support business growth.Drive strategic decision-making through financial analysis, business modeling, and scenario planning for investments, expansions, and new ventures.Strengthen financial systems, controls, and reporting frameworks through SAP-enabled budgeting and performance monitoring.Oversee MIS reporting, variance analysis, and performance reviews to provide actionable insights to management.Manage cash flow, working capital, banking facilities, and liquidity to ensure financial stability.Optimize creditor management, payment cycles, and working capital efficiency.Develop financing strategies and structured funding solutions to support business expansion and capital requirements.Lead treasury operations, including foreign exchange management and product hedging strategies.Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, insurers, auditors, and other key stakeholders.Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, taxation, and audit requirements while maintaining strong internal controls and risk management practices.Lead tax planning, assessments, and compliance activities to optimize tax efficiency and mitigate risks.Provide product-wise, business unit-wise, and segment-wise profitability analysis and costing information to support operational and strategic decision-making.Establish key financial KPIs and performance measurement systems across business functions.Qualifications & ExperienceMaster's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent are highly preferred.Minimum 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in finance, preferably within manufacturing, trading, FMCG, agri-business, or diversified business environments.Proven expertise in financial strategy, treasury management, capital planning, taxation, funding, business partnering, and performance management.Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and advanced financial planning and reporting tools.If you are a strategic finance leader passionate about driving financial excellence, disciplined growth, and long-term value creation, we would love to hear from you.
