Assistant-Audit (Expiry)

Bigmart is inviting applications for the position of Assistant – Audit (Expiry). This role is responsible for executing approved expiry management initiatives across assigned stores by coordinating inventory actions, supporting cross-functional teams, and ensuring the timely implementation of approved processes to maintain product freshness and minimize inventory losses. Designation: Assistant-Audit (Expiry) Job Level: Entry Number of Vacancies: 3 Work Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Flexibility in working hours is required based on operational needs) Work Location: Any Bigmart Store within Kathmandu Valley (Kathmandu, Lalitpur & Bhaktapur) Job Nature: Primarily Field-Based Job Responsibilities: Coordinate and execute approved expiry management actions across assigned stores in accordance with company policies and procedures. Support approved promotional displays and coordinate stock returns with DC teams. Coordinate with different internal department to ensure the smooth execution of expiry-related activities. Maintain accurate records and submit daily, weekly and other required reports to the assigned Officer. Perform any other duties assigned by the reporting Officer in relation to expiry management and audit activities. Conduct store visits to identify and verify near-expiry products and communicate findings to the relevant teams for necessary action. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and expiry management guidelines while carrying out assigned responsibilities. Job Specifications: Minimum +2 (Intermediate) completed; Bachelor’s running or completed will be preferred. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; prior experience in retail, inventory management, or store operations will be an added advantage. Basic proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications Good communication, coordination, and time management skills. Quick learner with strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and perform effectively under pressure. Physically fit and willing to travel frequently to Bigmart stores within and outside Kathmandu Valley as required. Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license and own a two-wheeler vehicle.
