Role and Responsibilities: As a Quality Assurance Engineer at SoftNEP, you will: Develop comprehensive and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand project requirements and design effective testing strategies. Execute both manual and automated tests to identify and report defects, ensuring robust functionality and performance of our software. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, driving efficiency and accuracy. Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues, collaborating with teams to identify root causes and propose solutions. Contribute to the enhancement of our QA processes and standards, promoting a culture of quality throughout the organization. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or any IT related field. Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role, demonstrating a track record of successful software testing and defect identification. Solid understanding of software development life cycles, testing methodologies, and best practices. Proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks, both manual and automated. Experience with performance and/or security testing will be a plus. Good knowledge in Git version control system. Working knowledge of Laravel and React. Solid knowledge of SQL queries (MySQL). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
