Battery System EngineerJob Descriptionyatri motorcycles We are looking for a high-performing Battery Systems Engineer to join our team. This position will have an exciting role of developing robust and reliable high performance battery systems. It requires good understanding of both mechanical and electrical engineering and closely work with other departments. Besides, you should have a passion to engineer the best electric motorcycle in the world and embrace constant learning. Responsibilities: • CAD Modelling of the battery pack components. • Managing subsystems and component level design requirements through collaboration with all the involved stakeholders (customers, Department of Transport, other departments, etc.). • Components validation plans and test methods. • Developing cooling systems for the battery packs. • Electrical component layout. • Technical drawings and production documentation. • Providing support to assembly and testing teams. • Providing support to ongoing product and process improvement. Main tasks: • Battery pack systems and subsystems research and development. • CAD modelling in collaboration with other departments. • Design, develop and release components and system specifications. • Supervision the testing of finished products and systems. Requirements: • Advanced knowledge of CAD software. • Good understanding of thermal analysis. • Knowledge of the following production processes: injection molding, sheet metal forming. • Experience with product and process validation. • Good knowledge of Lithium based battery cells. • Organized and goal-oriented. • Very good understanding of mechanical structures. • Excellent knowledge of English. • Highly communicative team player. • Bachelor’s or higher degree in relevant field of study. • At least 2 years of experience in the relevant field. Advantage: • Extensive experience in the engineering development. • Good knowledge of battery cell management. • Experience in cooling system design and management. • Understanding of electro-mechanical components.
