Embedded Software EngineerJob Descriptionyatri motorcycles What we're looking for? We are looking for Embedded software engineers who will enable our vehicle components to work optimally. Candidate will be developing embedded system architecture and embedded software for various cutting-edge hardware such as BMS, VCU, motor controller, charger and many more. Our engineers take the ownership of the specific project within the cross-functional team and are responsible to complete and deliver it on time. Responsibilities: - Designing and implementing embedded software end-to-end - Writing clean, well-structured, scalable and performant code - Develop embedded software for BMS, VCU, motor controller and charger Designing test strategies and test plans for the system requirements Prepare test environments - Integration of test tools into CI/CD pipeline - Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of S/W and H/W engineers Proposing new ideas and problem-solving Job Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar - Deep knowledge in C/C++ and Python programming - Good knowledge of Embedded Linux - Experience in JavaScript, CSS and HTML - Experience in embedded software development for any of the following: BMS, VCU, Motor Controller - Experience in software development, version control and RTOS Strong knowledge of MCU peripherals - Experience with CAN, SPI, I2C, UART etc. - Experience in Qt/QML user interface development is a plus Ability to read schematics and component data sheets Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Benefits - Health insurance with 100% premium covered Generous PTO / sick leave - PF plan with employer match - Free lunch and snacks - Annual company retreat - Bring your dog to work 🐶 - Work in a high-growth start up that will redefine urban mobility -- 1 of 2 -- About Us Yatri was founded in 2017 to prove world-class electric vehicles can be designed, engineered and manufactured from the ground up in Nepal - that switching to electric does not have to be a compromise but better, quicker and kinder to the planet.
