We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate and skillful person who can design and develop art of craft circuit boards as per the project requirement. Your involvement will be very important and required in every step of the development process: definition of requirements, architecture design, system design, testing, validation, system optimization and preparation for serial production. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the mechanical, electrical, test team for the design and requirements - Performing component selection and liaise with the procurement team Design and simulate the circuit in LTspice and proteus - Preparing the Schematic diagram and PCB layout of the circuit in KiCAD - Sensor integration and analyzing the output data Keep the project part library up-to-date - Providing support for embedded Software Engineers during software development - Fabricate the prototype circuit board in-house using CNC process and etching process - Solder all the components and connectors using different soldering methods Developing a serial production device for the cost optimization - Conducting tests on the device - Preparing project documentation and keeping it up to date Job Requirements: - Bachelor degree in Electrical & electronics or Electronics & communication Engineering (or Equivalent) or higher - Candidate should have 2+ years experience in the electronics hardware or similar field - Candidate must have good knowledge of electronics circuit design software platforms like KiCAD, Eagle, Altium and different PCB prototype fabrication methodologies - Experience with various digital and analog electronics, such as operational amplifiers and their variations for analog signal processing, analog switches and multiplexers, ADCs, linear and switching power supplies, power supply protections, MCU/CPUs, logical digital devices, communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, etc.) - Knowledge of power electronics Experience with designing multilayer PCBs (4+ layers) - Ability to understand and localize potential noises and interference sources in schematics and PCBs, and finding solutions to minimize them - Experience with the mechanical integration of PCBs in the enclosures and the ability to understand mechanical requirements - Working in a multidisciplinary team with other Hardware, Software, Mechanical and System Engineers -- 1 of 2 -- Benefits - Health insurance with 100% premium covered Generous PTO / sick leave - PF plan with employer match - Free lunch and snacks - Annual company retreat - Bring your dog to work 🐶 - Work in a high-growth start up that will redefine urban mobility About Us Yatri was founded in 2017 to prove world-class electric vehicles can be designed, engineered and manufactured from the ground up in Nepal - that switching to electric does not have to be a compromise but better, quicker and kinder to the planet.
