Information Care is looking for a driven Flutter Mobile Development Intern to join our team! Please note: This is an unpaid internship designed for students or aspiring developers looking to build their portfolios, gain mentorship, and accelerate their entry into the tech industry. While primarily remote, interns may occasionally be required to come into the office (roughly one day a week) for evaluations, team syncs, and hands-on collaboration. In this role, you will work closely with our mobile engineering team to build, optimize, and scale modern cross-platform applications for iOS and Android using cutting-edge technologies. If you have a solid grasp of Dart and Flutter and a hunger to learn, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities UI/UX Implementation: Design and build pixel-perfect, responsive user interfaces across iOS and Android using Flutter widgets. API Integration: Connect mobile frontends with backend microservices and RESTful APIs to fetch and display dynamic data. State Management: Implement structured state management solutions (such as Provider, Riverpod, BLoC, or GetX) across project modules. Debug & Optimize: Work closely with the team to identify app bottlenecks, debug issues, and optimize application performance. Maintain Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable Dart code and actively participate in team code reviews. What We're Looking For Core Skills: Strong foundational knowledge of Dart and the Flutter framework. State & API Handling: Hands-on experience fetching dynamic data via REST APIs and managing application state. OOP & Architecture: Solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, data structures, and clean architectural principles. Tools & Flexibility: Familiarity with Git/GitHub, VS Code or Android Studio, and the flexibility to attend occasional on-site syncs/evaluations. Mindset: An eager-to-learn attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative team spirit. Bonus Points Experience publishing personal projects on GitHub, the Google Play Store, or the Apple App Store. Prior knowledge or hands-on experience with Firebase services (Firestore, Auth, Cloud Messaging). Experience handling local storage solutions such as SQLite, Hive, or Shared Preferences.
