The individual should share the passion to engineer the best electric motorcycle in the world. Importantly, you shouldn't be afraid to take initiative and push your boundary. Responsibilities • Work as part of a small team to build React Native iOS / Android applications. • Implement pixel perfect UI that match designs. • Implement clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions that provide an excellent user experience. • Takes extreme ownership and drives the design department to implement modern and minimal designs staying true to Yatri philosophy. • Work with native modules when required. • Complete weekly sprints, and participate in sprint retrospectives and daily stand ups. • Architect, build and maintain excellent React Native applications with clean code. • Excellent collaborator and communicates with the embedded systems team and other stakeholders of the project in creation of all the necessary data interfaces and API endpoints • Conduct code reviews and architecture discussions. • Write unit and integration tests. • Release applications to the Apple and Google Play stores. Requirements • 1-2+ years of professional experience working with React Native. • Firm grasp of the JavaScript and TypeScript language, including ES6+ syntax • Experience working with Swift, Objective C, and Java is a plus point. • Familiarity with native build tools, like Xcode, Gradle, Android Studio. • Experience with automated testing suites, like Jest or Mocha. • Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems. -- 1 of 2 -- • Ability to take extreme ownership over your work.
