Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists in delivering high-quality dental care, educate patients on maintaining good oral hygiene, and ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Perform professional teeth cleaning (scaling and polishing) as directed. Assist dentists during examinations, surgeries, and dental procedures. Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain infection control protocols. Take and develop dental X-rays (where authorized). Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care. Record patient medical histories and maintain accurate clinical documentation. Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort throughout procedures. Monitor inventory of dental instruments and clinical supplies. Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, and operational. Follow clinic policies and maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Support the dental team with other clinical and administrative duties as required. Required Qualifications Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene or an equivalent dental health qualification. Valid registration with the Nepal Health Professional Council (NHPC), if applicable. Prior experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred. Knowledge of infection prevention and sterilization protocols. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.
